15 weeks from bash to self-healing Kubernetes
“I don't just use DevOps tools — I documented every step of learning them.” A structured progression from Linux fundamentals to production-grade monitoring and AI-powered remediation, then onwards into paid production work.
Linux & Shell Scripting
Automated sys-admin tasks with Bash. The habits behind the Arena’s Linux challenges.
Git & Version Control
Branching strategies, hooks and workflows.
Docker & Containerization
Multi-stage builds and Docker Compose. Related project: a 4-container React/Node app with persistent volumes and health checks on AWS EC2.
CI/CD with Jenkins & GitHub Actions
Pipeline-as-Code from scratch. Related project: a 6-stage DevSecOps pipeline (SonarCloud SAST, Snyk SCA, SHA-tagged builds) on a self-hosted EC2 runner with a 98.5% success rate.
AWS Core: EC2, S3, IAM, VPC
Deployed real workloads on AWS.
Terraform & IaC
Modular infrastructure, remote state and workspaces. Related project: a reusable EKS stack with S3 + DynamoDB remote state.
Kubernetes & EKS
Deployments, Services, Ingress and HPA. Related project: an end-to-end three-tier DevSecOps application with Jenkins and ArgoCD GitOps.
Prometheus, Grafana & AI self-healing
Full observability plus ML-powered auto-remediation. Related project: a RandomForest model predicts failures from CPU/memory metrics and an auto-healer restarts or scales above 75% failure probability. MTTR fell from 30 minutes to 30 seconds across 58 Terraform-managed resources.
DevOps Engineer Trainee · DevOps Institute Mumbai
Multi-node EKS clusters via Terraform and eksctl, GitHub Actions/Jenkins pipelines with Trivy and SonarQube gates, Grafana dashboards that cut MTTD by 40%.
DevOps Engineer · Techpaylogic Technologies
Owning production for a payment gateway and a travel platform: canary and blue/green releases on ECS (rollback 20 min → under 2 min), Terraform-modelled AWS environments, WAF hardening and PagerDuty-integrated alerting (MTTR −35%).
Now practise what I learned
